Bishop an nounce the engagement and forthcoming forth-coming marriage of their daughter Helen, to Mr. Melvin West, of San Diego, Cal. The marriage will take place at the home of the bride's parents in Hinckley on Wednesday, June 29. A wedding reception and dance honoring the young couple will be held that evening at the open air dance hall in Hinckley. A cordial invitation to attend is extended to all friends of the family. The bride-to-be is a graduate of the Hinckley high school and a fprmer student of Snow College. She is also a graduate of South Western Beauty School at San Diego, and has been employed for the past three years at the Powder Pow-der Puff beauty salon. Mr. West attended San Myeo Union high school. He spent 39 months in the army air corps, in the training command as flight en gineer and crew chief.
