Show Leamington Mrs. Leonard Dutson Mr and Mrs. Shelby Nielson from Salt Lake are spending a week here visiting with their son Grant and sister Ruth Nielson and family. , Mr. and Mrs. Oxel Johnson had their daughter, Varda and husband hus-band from Logan spending a week with them. Mr. and Mrs. John G. Lovell and children from Redwood City, Cal., are visiting here at the home of their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ben Lovell. Mrs. Charlotte Nielson has been in Provo visiting at the home of Mrs. Sid Searle. She brought. 'her little grand daughter back with on a visit. Margene Finlinson fell and broke her leg while playing ball up here in the Leamington ball park. She was taken in to Nephi to have it set. Mr. and Mrs. Walker Finlinson and family- drove to Milford to visit with her parents. They left Margene and her brother there to visit for a while. Mrs. Myrtle Nielson went to Cedar City a week ago to visit with her son Rulon and wife. While there she cared for. her son's wife who just recently came out of the hospital with a new little baby boy. It's their first child and they are very happy about it. Mrs. Glen Harder went to Salt. Lake with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Byrant Larsen of Sutherland to- attend the graduation exercises of her brother, Russell Larsen of Sutherland, who just graduated at the U of U. A soft ball game between Leamington Leam-ington and Lynndyl women was played here last Thursday night. The score was Lynndyl 22, Leamington Leam-ington 7. Looks like Leamington will have to practice up a bit. Visiting at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Williams are their daughter, Mrs. Willa Marquard and her daughter, from Paradise, Mont. Also over the weekend were Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Bennett and child ren from Tooele. Their son Don, and wife from Tooele and Mr n Mrs. Dern Williams of Fiiw"11 and Mr. and Mrs. Tom Willi,, and son from Milford.. nis Mr. Dern Williams just recentl went thru an appendectomy in tl J ' Fillmore hospital and has be spending the past week cchvaU cing at his parents home. The speakers for Sunday niehi meeting was Merrill Dutson wh just recently came home from two year mission in Minnesota He gave a very interesting talk-It talk-It was enjoyed by all those Drp sent. A piano solo by Mrs p. Fielding and daughter, Barbara Mr. and Mrs. Oral Anderson children left for Idaho last v,Zt where they will spend a month visiting with his parents. Mr. and Mrs. .Dick Nielson en tertained at a party last Saturdav night. The guests persent wer Mr. and Mrs. Phil Nielson and M, and Mrs. Jay Quornberg, Mr ami Mrs. Howard Nielson Mr. and Mrs Burton Hansen, Mr. and Mrs Gle Harder, Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Niel" son and Mr. and Mrs. Elden Hum from Hinckley. Cards were enjoyed and prizes given. Hot rolls and shrimp salad, ice cream, cookies punch were served. Mr. and Mrs. John Evans and son, George went to Genola last Saturday to attend the weddine rception of their granddaughter Bonnie Martin daughter of Mr and Mr. Rodney Martin. Among some of the other pople from Learnine ton that night, present were Mr" and Mrs. Bud McCann, Mrs. Wanda Nielson and daughter, Joan, Nora Nielson, Lorraine Stevenson and Claudia Nielson. Mrs. Nora Nielson has her moth er from Richfield here visiting with her. The 4th 4-H club meeting was held at the home of Annette Niel son. The girls are learing to make many useful articles in sewing A nice luncheon was served. The next meeting will be held at the home of Janice Nielson. Reporter Janice Nielson. Mr. and Mrs. Rex Bunker and daughter from Sutherland were dinner guests at the home of Mr and Mrs. Burton Hansen. Leamington MIA men played Sutherland in Delta last Mondav night. The score was Leamington tl Sutherland won by 10 points. Mr. and Mrs. Gene Dutson and little son from Provo spent last weekend with their parents in Leamington and Lynndyl. Mr Elmer Sodaquist drove from Salt Lake for the weekend to visit with his wife and her parents on Father's Day. Mrs. Sodaquist has been caring car-ing for her mother the past two weeks, who is recovering from having broken her leg. There has been a large number of men fishing up in the river a-bove a-bove Leamington the past two weeks Hope they are having good luck. , |
