Show Add More Funds To Aid Those Struck by Polio West Millard communities are still bringing in funds to add to the emergency fund that will aid in the care of polio victims. Mrs. Reva Bliss, chairman, reports this week: Returns from Sutherland , $59. 58, Mrs. Fern Foote, chairman, assisted as-sisted by Marie Jensen and Erma Walker. From Abraham comes $25. 50, with Mrs. Eleanor Murray, chair man. Lynndyl sent in $63.50, with Mrs. Mary Freer, chairman. From Oak City there was $41.05 collected by Dainy Nielson, chairman chair-man assisted by Afton Lovell, Johanna Jo-hanna Alldredge, Meredith Anderson, Ander-son, Afton Roper, Margene Anderson, Ander-son, Shirley Anderson, Dianne Har-is Har-is and Luona Talbot. Delta First ward with the drive headed by Mrs. Maline Gardner, assisted by Lenore Gardner, Mina Steele, Jo Pratt, Cora Day, La -Vonne Taylor, Myrl Crafts Cora Turner, Wilma Searle, Estelle Gard ner, Thelma Watts and Florence Robins turned in $104.50 Mrs. Nellie Sorenson, and coworkers co-workers Hazel Cahoon, Bessie Judd Adrian Hansen, Nelda Evans, Iva Mitchell, Lois Kimber, Vera Hilton and Ava Starley, gathered $100 from Delta Second ward. Delta Third ward raised $102, from a drive . conducted by Velda Perkins, chairman, and Fern Samp son, Hattie Harris, Beryl Bennion, Grayce Pace Betty Lister, Venda Stewart, Barbara Spendlove, Ven-ese Ven-ese Taylor, Loretta Whicker, La Vee Turner and Lily Wood. Civic organizations contributing to the drive were Delta Lodge No. 59, IOOF., $10; Delta Junior Chamber Cham-ber of Commerce $5, and Delta Lions, $5. |
