Mr. and Mrs. Jack Murray Mr. and Mrs. Jack Murray, who are making their home at Yuba City, California, since their mar-riage on Feb. 15. Mrs. Murray was Miss Virgie Sjostrom, daugh-ter of Mr. and Mrs. Hilding Sjos-trom, of Oasis, before her wed-ding. Miss Virgie Sjostrom, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Hilding Sjostrom, of Oasis, became the bride of Jack Murray, son of Mr. and Mrs. Rich-ard Murray, of Sacramento, at a ceremony in Sacramento on Feb-ruary 15, at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Robinson. Bishop Cox, of Sacramento ward, performed the marriage at 1:00 p. m., in the pre-sence of members of the families and friends. A reception honoring the young couple followed the ceremony. The bride chose the traditional white satin for her wedding gown, with a fingertip veil, and carried a bouquet of white roses. Her aunt, Mrs. Donna Belle Hostetter was matron of honor, wearing a salmon pink gown, with an orchid corsage. Small Sally Hostetter was flower girl, in a picture frock of blue, with a pink bonnet. The bride was given in marriage by her brother, Nor-man Sjostrom. The bridegroom was attended by R. L. Porter. Mrs. Murray has lived in Calif-ornia for the past three years, since her graduation from Hinckley high school. Mr. Murray served in the navy during World War II, and is now broadcasting over a radio station in Yuba City, where they are making their home. ' Party Slcld Ssa Nw ISoiiae Monday ' evening. Mr. and Mrs. Lafe Morley en-tertained at a dancing party Sat-urday night at their farm south rt Mix ft house-warmin- g of quar-ters being prepared for turkeys. A rwv cerrent floor, sixty by twenty feet, provided the dancing area en-joyed by fifty guests. Tuesday at 5 a. m. several thousand young turkeys arrived by transport plane at the Delta airport and are now installed in their new home, which was warmed and waiting. Guests Saturday night were members of the Delta Art Club, of which Mrs. Morley is president, and their husbands, and friends from here and out of town. Attending from Salt Lake City were Mr. and Mrs. N. L. Rasmussen, Mr. and Mrs. B. L. Snarr, Mr. and Mrs. H. E. Bunker, young Deltans who were married in Salt Lr-k- City March 30, were honored at a wedding reception and dance at the Delta high school gymnasium Saturday night, Re-ceiving with the young couple were their- parents, Mr. and Mrs. Cloy ' Broderick, Mr. and Mrs. Lamond Bunker, and Miss Roma Broderick and Reed Bunker. The bride wore a blue formal ev-ening gown, with a corsage of gar-denias. Corsages of carnations were worn by Mrs. Broderick and Mrs. Brnkc1. and Roma Broderick. A program was given during the evening, with Cloy Broderick act-ing as master of ceremonies. Tak-ing part were Merlin Forster, a vocal solo. Tola Newman, of Eure-ka, an aunt of the bride, who gave a musical reading, accompanied by LaVon Wa'ker at the piano; ac-cordion- solo, by Dale Johnson; xylophone solo, by Betty Grace Barney; reading by Mrs. Newman, and numbers by the quartet, Cherie Hannifin, Shiriene Steele, Merlin Forster and Myron Abbott. Many guests called during the evening, with best wishes for Mr. and Mrs. Bunker. Among those at-tending from out of town were Mr. and Mrs. Kimball Larson, Salt Lake City, Mr. ,p.nd Mrs. Fred Rich, Pro-v- o, and Mr. and Mrs. Arlo Brod-erick, Mr. and Mrs. Hamilton Laird, Mr. and Mrs. Arvid Newman, Mr. and Mrs. LeRoy Gourley, Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Walker, Mrs. Vi Tinder and Mr. and Mrs. Harold Jameson, all of Eureka. Mrs. Wiley will go to Salt Lake Tuesday, to the L. D. S. hos-pital, where she will undergo an onpration. C. Mrs. Magill returned from Mil-ford Monday and stopped to visit Mrs. Carl Larsen on her way to Provo. Mrs. Wallace Allen received word from Mrs. Geneva Johnson, of East Los Anegels, that she is much 'after a heart attack, Charley Smith has gone to Mil- - ford to work. Mr. and Mrs. Martin Sherriff I went to Provo for a few days visit, with Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Wilkie. Floyd Roundy has gone to Tintic, where he is employed. Mr. and Mrs. Alma Banks re-ceived word that Mr. and Mrs. Fred Banks, of Attumwa, Iowa, were happy over the arrival of a seven pound baby girl, born April 12. Mrs. Banks was formerly Miss Leah Roberts, of Delta. Mr. 'and Mrs. Earl Greathouse and William J. Finlinson went to Fillmore to attend the funeral of i Mrs. Zola Bartholamew, who pass-- f ed away. Mr. and Mrs. Earl Greathouse went to Snanish Fork, to take their daughter. Vonna Lou, who has a ankle. Bob Nielson snent his vacation home, with h's parents, Mr. and Clead Nielson. Mr. and Mrs. Val Davidson and M". Partn Davis, of Salt Lake City, visited with Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Mr. and Mrs. Ford Coleman, of Salt Lake Citv. are visiting here, with Mr. and Mrs. Bill Coleman. Mr. and Mrs. Shirl Johnson, of Provo. visited over the weekend with Mr. and Mrs. Reed Larsen. Mr. and Mrs. Roy Mills spent a few days visiting in Milford. Mr. Lee Shipley spent a few days in Salt Lake City. Mr. and Mrs. DeLong Banks and son, Johnny, of Provo, were visit-ing here with Mr. and Mrs. Alma Banks. Mr. and Mrs. Earl Talbot are very happy over the arrival of a baby boy. Mr. Jack Cox and a woman from Beaver, drove up and brought Mrs. Don James home, after visiting with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Blaine Cox. Tillman Johnson, Darpld What-co- tt and Keith Nielson, went to Hurricane and attended the track meet there. Tillman visited with his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Johnson. Mrs. Irving Whateott and Mrs. Gene Dutson spent Wednesday in Delta, with Mrs. Adelia Stephenson, who celebrated her birthday. Mrs. Jean Jeffers went to Green-rive- r, Wyoming. Mrs. Nell Watson, Mrs. Eugene Gardner," Mrs. Glen Stewart, and Mrs. Oren Stoddard drove to Fill-more Monday with E.
