Staplev City Recorde- (SEAL) the full amount of the taxes herein here-in levied, and the said tracts and 'parcels of land are hereby assessed assess-ed in accordance with the linear front footage upon said streets to the full depth of said lots, as hereinafter here-inafter set forth. That the total cost of the above-mentioned above-mentioned improvements is the sum of $57,500.00, and that said sum amounts to an assessment assess-ment of SI. 75 per front foot on property abutting upon the above ! described streets on the side thereof there-of next to the sewer line construct-jed; construct-jed; the sum of $1.25 per front foot 'on property abutting, upon the a-, a-, bove described streets on the opposite op-posite side thereof from where said sewer is constructed; and Ihe sum of $2.50 per front on property ion the side .thereof next to the I sewer line constructed; and the sum of $2.00 per front foot on p.-op-jerty on the opposite side thereof ifiom where sewer is constructed on Clark Street between First West Street and Fourth West Street and on Third West Street from the in tersection of the alley south of Clark Street to First North Street, land the City Treasurer is hereby authorized and directed to assess in accordance with the provisions of this ordinance, for the purposes earlier mentioned, the real property hereinabove described abutting upon' up-on' said streets, situated in the City of Delta, State of Utah, and tne Treasurer certified copy of this ordinance or-dinance levying such tax, and I such treasurer shall, without delay, de-lay, give at least five (5) days' notice in the Millard County Chronicle, Chron-icle, a weekly newspaper publisn-ed publisn-ed and having general circulation in said city, by publication in one issue thereof, of the time when such tax will become delinquent, and shall mail a special tax notice no-tice to each of the abutting owners own-ers in said district against whose i property said tax is levied of the I amount of such tax levied against 1 such property. SECTION o. In the opinion of the City Council of the City of Delta, it is necessary for the immediate im-mediate preservation of the peace, health and safety of said city and the inhabitants thereof, that this ordinance become effective immediately, im-mediately, and it is therefore ordained or-dained that this ordinance shall be published once in said Millard County Chronicle and shall become elifective immediately upon such publication. STAPLEY, the duty chosen, chos-en, qualified, and acting City Recorder Re-corder of the City of Delta, MiLlaid County, State of Utah, do hereby certify that the foregoing is a full, true, and correct copy of the ordinance ordin-ance levying a special tax in Sewer Sew-er District or Extension No. J, which was duly and regularly adopted ad-opted by the City Council of said City of Delta on the 9th day of ORDINANCE i AN ORDINANCE LEVYING THE TAX AND PROVIDING FOR THE ASSESSMENT OF PROPERTY PROP-ERTY IN SEWER DISTRICT OR EXTENSION NO. 1, IN THE CITY OF DELTA, MILLARD COUNTY. STATE OF UTAH, FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF A SEWER SYSTEM IN SAID DISTRICT. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DELTA, MILLARD COUNTY, STATE OF UTAH. SECTION 1. That the City Council of the City of Delta, Millard County, State of Utah, does hereby levy a tax and provide for the assessment of the same upon property hereinafter herein-after described and involved in connection con-nection with Sewer District or Extension Ex-tension No. 1 in the City of Delta, Millard County, State of Utah, for the purpose of constructing sewer extensions, cleaning existing sewer pipe, installing a pumping plant, and constructing tile sewer upon and along the following streets in said city: 4th South Street between 2nd West and 1st West, 1st West Street between 4th South Street and Clark Street, ' Clark Street between First West Street and Main Street. Clark Street between Main Street and 1st East Street, Clark Street between 1st East I Street and 3rd East Street, 2nd East Street between Clark ' Street and 2nd South Street, 1st North Street between 2nd West Street and 4th West Street, 1st South Street between 3rd West Street and 4th West Street. 2nd South Street between 3rd West Street and 4th West Street, and 1st South Street between Main Street and 1st West Street, according to the plans, profiles and specifications on file in the office of the City Recorder, and to defray the abutters' portion of tho cost an .dexpense thereof by a local lo-cal assessment upon the lots or pieces of ground to be affected or benefited by said improvements, situated within the East Vi of Blocks, 12, 33, 34, 55, 56, and 77; all of Blocks 10, 13, 32, 35, 54, 57, 76: and the East of Block 79: all of Blocks 9, 14, 31, 36, 53, 58, 75, 80; and Lot 2 of Block 97; all of Blocks 8, 15, 30, 37, 52, 59, 74: and the West of Block 81; and Lot 1 of Block 81; and the West y2 of Blocks 16 and 29 and Lot 4,' Block 29; all of Blocks 38 and 51 and the S 14 of Block 60; and Lot 7, Block 60; the W of Block 73; the South of Lot 2, ! Block 82; the North Vz of Block : 48 and Lot 2 of Block 48; Lot 3, Block 41; Lot 4, Block 40; Lots 1, ! 3 and 4 of Block 49; Lots 2, 3, and 4 of Block 50; the West of , Block 39; Lot 3 of Block 28; the1 South of Blocks 61, 62 and 63' all in Plat "A" Delta Townsne Survey, fronting or abutting upon i the streets above named, and to ! the entire depth back therefrom, i and it is hereby adjudged and de- termined that said property will be especially benefited thereby to said treasurer is authorized and directed dir-ected to collect said tax. SECTION 2.. That the assessment list made by the City Treasurer, and as approved and completed by the Board of Equalization and Review, Re-view, as to all property heretofore described and mentioned in Section 1 of this ordinance as being involved involv-ed in Sewer District or Extension No. 1, and for the purpose of constructing con-structing a sewer system, repairing existing sewer pipe, installing a pumping plant, and constructing tile sewer upon said portions of streets in said sewer district, is hereby confirmed and the assessments assess-ments made and returned in said completed list, together with the report of the Board of Equalization Equaliza-tion and Review to the City Council of the City of Delta, are hereby ratified, approved and confirmed. SECTION 3. That said tax shall be payable in five equal yearly installments in-stallments as provided by law and ordinance, with interest on tne whole sum unpaid at the rate, of four per cent (4) per annum, with interest payable at the tima each of said installments shall become be-come due; provided, however, that one or more such installments in the order payable, or the whole tax, may be' paid without interest within fifteen (15) days from the date this ordinance becomes effective. ef-fective.
