Show Lyimtlyl ...... Mrs. Rachel Simpson Monday Mrs. Grayson Roper entertained at lunchen for Mrs. Leland Roper and Mrs. Theo Stewart Stew-art of Oak City and Mrs. Nada Simpson. Mrs. Don James took advantage of the .two day holiday and took her children, Terry, Dee, Bruce and Chad to Beaver to visit their grand parents Mr. and Mrs. Blaine Cox. Mrs. Thelma Clark went to Salt Lake Thursday to visit friends and relatives. visiting and enjoyed a very pleasant pleas-ant day. Mrs Harry Carlington gave birth to a baby girl Sunday Oct. 10th. The baby died shortly after its birth. Mrs. Carrington is doing nic- elMrs LaRene Talbot and daughter daugh-ter Nina of Willard are here visiting visit-ing Mr. and Mrs. Jerome Ivie. Mrs Minnie Ashby and daughter Nina Rasmusson and three children from Springville spent a few days visiting with Bishop and Mrs. Clead Nielson. Little Janet Nielsen, daughter of Mr and Mrs. Phil Nielsen fell from a truck and fractured her skull and has been in the Payson hospital, but is home and is improv ingMrs Hettie Johnsen, who had an operation in Salt Lake has returned to her home inSutherland after having spent a week with her daughter Mrs. Mary Johnsen here. , , Mrs Roy Nielsen took her small daughter to Springville where they had her tonsils removed. Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Siple went to Boise, Idaho to visit with Mr. Siple's family. Norman Johnsen of Los Angelas is visiting here with Mr. and Mrs. Lyle Johnsen and in Sutherland with relatives. Tilman Johnsen, Colleen Nielsen Niel-sen and Darold Whatcott, who are attending school out of town were home for the week end. Miss Clorean Johnsen went to Los Angelas Saturday where she is employed. The round house was moved Sunday to Delta. Emil the barber bought it. . . Curt Roper, who is working in Provo came home to spend the day with his family. Mr. and Mrs. Alva Miller and baby of Ogden visited lately with Mrs. Jean Jeffers. Mrs. Miller is Mrs. Jeffers niece. Mrs. Mary Coon and daughter Judy of Salt Lake are here visiting visit-ing Mrs. Jean Jeffers on the weekend. week-end. Miss Janeane Simpson is home for the week end. She is working in Salt Lake. Miss Gladys Banks came home from Cedar City for a few days to visit her parents Mr. and Mrs. Alma Banks. Mrs. Bill Simpson went to Beaver Friday to attend the wedding of her cousin Ilean Smith who was married there. Ilean was i former resident of Lynndyl and spent a couple of years in Washington D. C. working for the government. Miss Nettie Dans, aunt of Mrs. Jerry Nielsen returned to Salt Lake Tuesday after having spent the summer in Yellow Stone Park with Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Nielsen. Mr. and Mrs. Wallace Allen will spend a few days in Salt Lake before be-fore Mr. Allen goes to Cedar City to work for the winter. Mr. C. E. Simpson, son Jay, and grandson Neil, Mr. M. E. Mayers and two sons Gene and Steven spent Saturday in Fillmore. Mr. iand Mrs. Harry McCardel, Mr. and Mrs. C. E. Freer and Mr. and Mrs. Tom Campbell went to Delta Saturady evening and attended atten-ded the Democratic rally. Governor Gover-nor Maw was the principal speaker Mr. and Mrs. Gaven Wier drove up from Rud Sunday and spent a pleasant day with Mr. and Mrs. Wallace Allen. Mrs. Lawrence 'Bradfield had a birthday dinner in honor of her husband Friday. Those present were Mr. and Mrs. Dell Bradfield, Mr. and Mrs. Ben Lovell, Mr. and Mrs. Delbert Bradfield Brad-field and children and Mrs. Margaret Mar-garet Ritchie, all of Leamington. Last week Mrs. Margaret Bradfield, Brad-field, Mrs. Doris Bradfield of Leam ington, Lilace Christenson of May-field, May-field, Utah and Mrs. Opal Lam-bright Lam-bright were in Nephi on business. They returned in the afternoon and Mrs. Margaret Bradfield served a lunchen to them. Mr. and Mrs. Dewey Carpenter of Delta were dinner guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Bradfield. Roy Clark is spending Monday in Provo. Mrs. Marie James went to Provo Monday to visit her husband there. A wedding shower was given in honor of Mr. and Mrs. Marion Anderson And-erson Sunday evening at the Ward hall. Dern Roper of Caliente, Nevada spent Sunday visiting his parents Mr. and Mrs. Curt Roper. Mr. and Mrs. Wallace Allen went to Cedar City where Mr. Allen will work. Thursday Mrs. Eva Holt, Mrs. Welton of Delta came to the home of Mrs. Mary Talbot bringing with them a hot dinner which they served. They spent the afternoon |
