Thursday, December 20, the appoint-J ment of several now employees -was approved. J. v. Watson, athletic director of the College, was appointed appoint-ed Farm Help Specialist for Utah. C. Brlmley of Salt Lake. W. W. Owens was appointed District Dis-trict Leader of County Agents for Southern Utah. N. E. Edelfsen was made Assistant County Agent for Sevier County. Marlon L. Harris, Harrison E. Woodberry, and Low Mar Price received re-ceived appointments as County Agents for Rich, Juab and Carbon Counties, respectively. Joseph A. Smith was appointed director di-rector of the College band and Yeppa Lund was mado assistant chemist. The following leaves of absence wero granted: Professor George W. Thatcher, leave of ono year for study; Mr. S. L. Bingham, leave of one year for study, and Mr. Ezra Carter, Indefinite In-definite leave for war service as bacteriologist.
