Show U. A. C. FOOTBALL DJJPE Tho first game of the season will bo played against tho fast Granite High school eleven on Adams' field next Saturday afternoon at 3 o'clock. Although this will only be a practice prac-tice game, it promises to bo close and exciting, as tho Granite boys havo a strong team and aro always thero with lots of pep and fight. Tho game will give Coach Watson a chance to get a good lino on his mon, and will to a certain extent determine de-termine which of tho boys aro going to mako tho squad this year. Practically all of tho men on the squad will get Into tho ganio at ono or another position. Cannon, Gardner, Gard-ner, Worley, Larson, Crookston, Magelby, Poulter, Mohr and Captain Twltchel will hold down tho center, guard and tacklo positions, whllo Harlow Spencer, Llndquist, llalllf, Jarvls, Hendricks, Olsen, Stlefel, Petersen, Hansen, Conkwrlght nnd Gillignn will fill tho end and back field positions. Tho gamo will bo called promptly at 3 o'clock. Contrary to predictions and expectations, expec-tations, Mr. C. Werner (Stubby) Petersen Is training hard, and ho can bo seen stealing toward homo tit about n, quarter to ten every night. Andy Mohr is in a suit again and Is out to do all ho can toward taking the U. of U.'s scalp this year.
