Show FRANKLIN FOLK ENTERTAINED IN LOOANJANYON Franklin, Aug. 30. Tho officers, teachers and their partners of tho Franklin Sunday school spent a most delightful day up Logan canyon, Saturday. Sat-urday. Tho party, consisting of ton crowded crowd-ed automobiles, left town shortly after 7 o'clock. Through tho kindness of Mr. Frank Benson, they wero given tho use of his delightful summer home, which was vory much appreciated and on-Joyed on-Joyed by all present. At noon a delicious luncheon was served under the direction of Mrs. Hannah Kirk, Mrs. Luella Doney and Miss Leora Anderson. Each ono possessing an abnormal appetite, pronounced it delicious, and you may bo suro did justlco by do-life do-life so. After luncheon somo of tho men en-Joyed en-Joyed squaw wrestling, while other members enjoyed climbing over the mountains. About 3 p. m. all members of tho party took a merry Jaunt In their cars up to tho cave, "tho eighth wonder won-der of tho world." Mr. Joseph Lowe, tho only member of tho crowd possessing a light, had to pilot tho way. But not alono though, as half a dozen ladles or moro hold him fast by tho coat tall. An hour or moro was spent wondering wonder-ing around in tho cave, crawling over rocks, laughing at tho tear and ex citement of all. Wo must not fall to mention tho most thrilling and laugbablo featuro of tho day was when Wllford Hatch lost his wltp." At 11 p. m. tho weary travelers arrived home, all pronouncing It a very pleasant and eventful day. |
