Rlter, received n telephone tel-ephone message that tho operation had been performed nnd that Mr. Win. E. Rlter was progressing favorably favor-ably under the circumstances. Mr. 11. F, Rlter received a night telegraphic letter from Washington, D. C. yetserday from his son Lieut. William C. Rlter, advising him that ho Is ordered to Fort D, A. Russell for demobilization, and from there he will return home. Lieut. Rlter has been stationed at Coblenz on the Rhino for several months, and was-among was-among the last to leave on account of his being engaged in the railway transportation corps-of the Army, His many friends will welcgjne him. |
