"A single recommendation was placed before the membership of tho Chamber. Under the by laws tho vote closed at midnight on Juno 9, 1910, when 3CC organizations had filed ballots. These organizations arc situated In 43 states, tho District? of Columbia and Hawaii. In accordance with the vote, the Chamber Is committed to tho recommendation recom-mendation in that more than one-third one-third ot tho voting strength of the Chamber was recorded and more than two thirds cast favorablo votes, representing moro than 20 states In favor of the proposition.
