Frooror, assistant to I'ro-fi-ssor John T Calue of tho department of Animal Husbandry of the Agricultural Agricul-tural College, was In town Sunday and talked to a Republican reporter on tho progress which the collego Is mak-hi mak-hi raising tho standard of tho dairy herds of Cache Valley. Mr. F"rcerer Is Inspecting twenty-five twenty-five herds In different parts of tho alley. He Inspects each herd onco a month. He weighs from each animal (f tho herd tho total amount of milk produced per day, and tests tho milk f ench animal for butter fat. Each herd contains about twenty six nni-mala nni-mala so that Mr. Frocrer Is k,ept very busy accurately rocordlng tho resultH and keeping fnrmers advised regarding regard-ing which of their animals are paying ami which are robber cows, Tho farmers are co-operating enthusiastically enthu-siastically with tho collego In this work. Of courso results bo far are not (omplcted enough to draw any genoral (oncluslous in regard to what this now service will do -for the state.
