From Buffalo, Nevada, a small settlement set-tlement fifty miles from telegraph and railroad communication, comes thr news that a band of Indians became Involved In a pitched battle and as a result two of the redmen are dead. How many were wounded In the fight cannot bo learned. From what can be learned the Indiana In-diana became Involved In a dispute over the division of ponies, provisions and firewater. The band divided Into two factloas and a pitched battle with guns and knives followed.
