The song-piano recital given by Miss Kdnah Vivian Linn at the Presbyterian Presby-terian church last Friday evening was a splendid success from every viewpoint. view-point. Miss Linn demonstrated, as was her Idea, that her vocal and piano technique Is excellent. While possessing posses-sing a voice of no great power tt Is sweet and under perfect control. The fact that sho knows so well how to make tho very best use of her limitations limita-tions and has a natural gift of expression expres-sion that more experienced artists would be glad to possess enables her to appear to good advantage. In her piano work Miss Linn was not less successful. Doth vocal and Instrumental Instru-mental nu niters woro selected, not with tho Idea of giving the audience particular pleasure, but that she might have opportunity to demonstrate demon-strate her capacity In various directions. direc-tions. Sho did this very satisfactorily and at tho same time furnished an evening of real pleasure for the rather largo audience that greeted her. The following was The Programme: 1.
