Show Sickness at Junction. Several People III. Bob Morton's Absence Deeply Regretted. C.U'iik Ji-NiTioN. Oct. J. -The heavy rains recently have greatly encouraged en-couraged the farmers and made the outlook for the coming crops much more promising. Much sickness has been In our midst hi th past few weeks. Miss Nora Iloufoy was taken to the Latter Day Saints Hospital last Tuesday and at present Is very sick with typhoid fever. Hci mother, Mis. W. Dlvel-blss, Dlvel-blss, is with her. Mrs. Ollle Haugh I'arker was taken through herefrom Garland to Logan to the lludge hospital hos-pital one day last week, also sick with typhoid. At last accounts was very sick. Mr. .Mm Ilrlggs has b::cn finite sick the p.ist few days, being confined to the house for four or live days. At piesent writing he Is much improved. Mr. Ilobert Moiton, our genial agent, has moved to Logan wc are sorry to sav. Hut the old saying, "what Is a loss to one Is gain to another" an-other" has pioved true In this case. We are at a loss to know what Inducement Induce-ment could have lured "Hoi)" to leave such a lively place as Cache Junction, where there Is so much to be enjoyed, and go to Logan. Well, he has left many friends behind and all wish him success wherever he may go. Mr. and Mrs. John Crookston have been spending the past week vviyh fi lends and lelatlves at Paradise. Mrs. Crookston has been iilte 111 but is much Improved. School commenced in Cache J unction this morning with Mr. Dunn of Wells-ville, Wells-ville, as Instructor. Miss Ida Jenkins, or Newton, was a caller In the Junction yesterday. |
