Show Cold in Paradise. Storm Chills Things, But Later Proves Very Beneficial to Crops. Paiiadihk, October 2, 100.7. -The storm during the latter part of the week was a very cold one, and many feared it would cud up with a fall of snow, as It looked veiy much that way. However It has cleared off, has laid the dust, cleaied the air and given the fall grain a good start at sprouting, for which the farmers are thankful. The fall threshing and harvesting is nearly completed. Mr. and Mrs. Kd. Norman were made happy our the arrival of a Mno boy at their home. Mr. John Hickmoie has contracted a very severe case of typhoid fever. He is attended by Dr. Cantrlll of Ilyrum, who seems to think the case a serious one. Mr. George Hradsliaw, of Wellsvllie, was visiting the Saints hero Sunday in the interest of religion class work.
