Show Some of the old settleis who luvc lived below the West or Benson canal for thirty-live jears, offer complaints as to the management of the water in the above canal. It appears that the farmers on the outside of town do not need the water until along In the hummer, while the residents in town living under that ditch need the water earlier for their gaidens. It appears also that no water Is turned Into the ditch until the farmers need it, and that this time the gaidens ate ruined, the water coming too late to help them. We are lequcsted to publish tills that the management of that ditch may make necessary provisions whereby all parties concerned may not suiter foi water. If the water-master water-master would confer with the Logan people undoubtedly some amicable airangemcnts could be entered Into whereby all p.utles could be satisfied. |
