Show A Delightful Affair. Thirty lady friends of Miss Delia Torgenson gave that candltato for matrlmonal honors a "china shower" at the home of Miss Grctha Cardon last Friday evening and Incidentally enjoj cd themselves as people generally do when guests of this charming hostess. Miss Torgenson was the recipient re-cipient of many handsome presents In the line of china-ware, each lady pie-senting pie-senting a token of the love and esteem es-teem with which they legard her. Elegant refreshments were served, and a punch-lwvvl in the hall, decorated as it was and tilled with the nectar Jupiter sips, came in for a liberal shatc of attention especially ftom representatives of the male fiaternity, who, as a matter of couiso had to "drop in." Such pleasures as ate part and parcel of such affairs were indulged indulg-ed In to the delight of all and until a late hour.
