We have begun and H havo towaid favoiable completion a m municipal electiic lighting system, hB voted by tho electors of the city, hide-I hide-I pendent of political affiliation. 9 Wo havo re-dilded the city into H municipal wards so as to equalize the H population and insure an equitable representation of both political par- tics. H Wshavc made a more systematic 13 exaindlturc of tho public Hinds on lljraii and bridges. v The last Demociatlc Council used tho entire city hall fund to pay tho B general Indebtedness contracted by Its admlnlstiatlon, and the present Republican Re-publican council on Its Inauguration found that there was due to that fund the sum of nioic than thiee thousand dollars. We still faor the building of a City Hall as soon as the finances of the city will permit.
