Show Wellsville Cows Make Remarkable Record " The cow testing association nt Wollsvlllo organized by Mr. H. E. McCartney of tho Agricultural College Col-lege hasrecently completed Its third month obtesting. Tho 31 members aro becoming moro and more enthused enthus-ed over the work. Some say that wcro tho expense 5 instead ot $1.50 per cow to obtain ono year's record, they would feel fully Justified In paying that much. George J. Ilaslam Is tho ohlcial, tester. tes-ter. He Is proving himself to be an excellent "dairy missionary." It Is his duty to spend ono day each month with each member of tho association nnd. while there, weigh tho milk from x each cow and latar test It for butter fat and figure complete, records for each cow. Ho leaves with each owner own-er a complete detailed statement as to what each cow is doing. Tho records vary from an incomo , of a few dolla&rs per month to moro than twenty. It is the aim of tho Wellsville dairymen to keep tho kind L of cows that will approach tho ?20 mark very closely overy month.
