Show MENDON Mendon June 2 The Relief Society Sisters held their annual meeting Wed ncsday afternoon In the meeting house. The following program was rendered: Maria Baker gave a short talk on Relief Society work. Song by Mrs. Charles Bird of Salt Lake City, and Mrs. A. Daker. Select reading by Mrs. Hannah Larson. Duet by Miss Ethel Sorensen and Miss Eisle Wat-kins. Wat-kins. Short talk by Mrs. A. Westov-er. Westov-er. Story by Miss Mamo bird. Recitation Recita-tion by Mrs. Ella WatklnB. Song by Mrs. Mary Taylor. Some excellent remarks were made by Mrs. Allen, Mrs. Crltchlow, Mrs. Baxter and Mrs. Allen of the stake board of Hyrum. Closing remarks were made by President Presi-dent Mary Sorenson, after which a lunch was served. Mrs. William I. Sorensen delight-fuly delight-fuly entertained Mrs. Lizzie Baker, .Mrs. Mary Sorensen,, Mrs. Hannah Larsen, Mrs. Hill, Mrs. Nan Whitney, a,nd Mrs. Sarah Bird at a tea party at her home Thursday afternoon, the occasion oc-casion being the lady's birthday. Mrs. Joseph Hancock of Salt Lake City Is visiting this week with re latlves and friends here. The farmers are busy thlnlng beets. Mr. A. Baker went to Bulst Idaho Friday. Mrs. James Hansen of Beaver Ward attended the Relief Society Annual Wednesday. |
