Show HOLDUP QUARTET ROBS FOUR IN FORTY MINUTES Ogden, Jan. C Four victims In forty minutes was the record set by four holdup artists here tonight. Tho quartet of highwaymen mado a complete com-plete circuit of tho business district committing the fourth and last crime within a half block of the county jail. Tho first holdup was ut Wall nvcnuo nnd Twenty-sixth Btreet nt 10 o'clock and tho second ten minutes later nt Twenty-seventh street nnd Washington Washing-ton avenue. Enrl Dcnkcrs was then stopped on Twenty-fourth street between Jefferson Jeffer-son and Madison avenues at 10:30 and at 10:10 Dr. 11. A. McCune was relloved of a gold watch, ?10 nnd keys nt Twenty-fourth street and Adams nvenue. Dr. McCune was tho only heavy loser. All tho men wore caps and were short and hcvy set. They addressed all victims In the same manner. "Keep your eyes on Ood nnd hold your hands up." |
