Fogg of tho Yollowstono stnko, Idaho died nt tho Deo hospital ot 12:30 last night, after nn Illness of only n Bhort time, of appendicitis. Ho wns brought to tho hospital from his homo nt St. Anthony Inst tlmo, slnco wh'ch tlmo he underwent an operation, peritonitis setting in and death being Inevitable. At his death bed were his wlfo nnd daughter nnd h's business partner, J. I,. Jacobs of St Anthony. Tho body wns taken to tlio Lnrkln undertaking parlors for preparation for shipment to St. Anthony An-thony Funorni services vlll be held at St Anthony Sunday afternoon this morning Dlshop D n Ha'rls and wife of Salem, Idaho, Mrs. Harris Har-ris being a sister of the deceased, a brother, Charles Fogg, nnd other rel-at rel-at ves arrived and they will accompany accom-pany tho remains home this evening. They all are grief stricken over the untimely death of Mr. Fogg who was among tho most Influential men of the Yellow-Btone stake. Mr. Fogg was 45 Xars old at the time of bis death, leaving a wife and five children, besides brothers and s'sters to mourn his demise. He was a lumber merchant of St. Anthony and owned an Interest in a number of sawmills In different parts of the Gem state. Dlshop Harris says he was among the best men of the country and that his death was a great loss to the community both as a church man, citizen and business man.1 |
