Show A Joint Resolution Proposing An Amendment to Section 9, Article VI, of the Constitution of the State of Utah, Relating to the Compensation of the Members of the Legislature. Ho It ennctcd by tho Legislature of tho Stato of Utah two-thirds of all tho membors elected to each of tho two houses concurring therein: Section 1. That It is proposed to amend Section 9, Artlclo VI, of tho Constitution of Utah," so that the samo will read as follows:. 9. Until otherwise provided by law, tho members ot the Legislature Bhall receive eight dollars ($8.00) por day and ten cents per mllo for tho distance dis-tance necessarily travelled going to and returning from the placo ot meeting meet-ing on tho most usual route, and shall receive no other pay or perquisite. Section 2. Tho Secretary ot Stato Is hereby directed to submit this proposed pro-posed amendment to the electors of the State at the noxt general election H In the manner provided by law.
