Show Newton. NEWTON, Jan. O.-The holidays are now past and students have gone back to school. The young ladles of Newton gave a dance last Friday night and a very enjoyable en-joyable evening was spent. Theodore Ecklund came home to spend tho holldayf with his folks and friends. Mr. Ecklund has been In Tacoma, Wash., the past two years. The stork came to the home of Mr. and Mrs. EzraOooley and left a smiling smil-ing little daughter. The Clarkston Dramatic company presented ''Hazel Klrke" to a full house. It was played well and enjoyed very much. Wednesday mornlngschool was commenced com-menced in the new school house with a good attendance. A surprise party on Mrs. Amos Clarke was given Tuesday night by her children and grand-children and an enjoyoble evening was spent. It was Sister Clarke's birthday. Mrs. Tempest, of Rexburg, is visiting visit-ing her daughter, - , ' Mrs. John Henson and Fritz Eck-und Eck-und went over to Logan Tuesday. |
