Show To Elect New Directors Cache Commercial Club Will Name Five. Nyxt Monday night tho annual election elec-tion of directors of tho Cache Commercial Com-mercial Club will take place. Five directors to soro threo cars arc to bo elected and the nominating board provided by the by-laws has posted tho following names: F. K. Nobekcr, n. Hullen Jr , Wm. Edwards, Moses Thatcher Jr. and F. W. Thatcher. Tho gentlemen whoso terms expire are as follows: II. F. Hitcr, Joseph Campbell, F. K. Nobeker, Robert A'n-dcrson A'n-dcrson and W.' K. Uurnham, Tho bylaws by-laws provide that independent nominations nomin-ations may bo made under certain conditions, con-ditions, but It Is not, anticipated tjiat there will be any insurgent move to defeat those named by the nominating nominat-ing board. All members ot the club in good standing arc privileged to vote next Monday night and arc urged to be prtscnt. The officers ot the club will make their annual report at this meeting. ' At a meeting of the club directors Wednesday evening there was much discussion of matters of more or less public Interest, but official action was not In ovldcnce. The Hendrlckson coa) matter came In for a few warm words, and the matter of letting a npw organization havo control of the Logan City band Instruments was touched upon. There is a move on foot to organize another band with Jos.' A. Smith Jr. as leader, rather than Prof. Thomas. Tho matter was brought to the attention of the club, which ordered that tho instruments owned by them be returned to the club to await future developments. J. A. Hendrlckson, who has fathered the Logan City band, Is looking into the matter. |
