Show PIONEER PASSES AWAY. Paul Hansen, a highly respected and wealthy pioneer of Cache, died at his home in Providence last Saturday evening at 7 o'clock, tho result of hemorrhage of the brain, no went to tho woodshed to do a little work Friday Fri-day evening about 5 o'clock, and a few minutes later was found on tho doorstep of the house unconscious. Ho was carried in, medical aid was summoned, and during tho evening tlie stricken man became conscious and talked with his family. Later he became unconscious again and remained re-mained that way until his death the following evening. The deceased was 04 years of age, of exceptionally strong and robust constitution, apparently, and his sudden dcmlso came unexpectedly. unex-pectedly. Paul Hansen was born In Denmark and came to Utah with his parents In 1802. He has resided In Providence over slnco and was regarded as a big-hearted big-hearted citizen with all the traits of a good man. He owned considerable farm land In this valley and In tho Teton Ilasln and was considered Unancially well flxed. But for his extravagant liberality liber-ality ho would probably have been in even bettor condition. Tho deceased was married twice, his first wife dying several years ago. His widow, a sister of tho first wife, together to-gether with a total of twelve children survive him. |
