Show GREENVILLE GOOSLERBERRIES. Greenvi'le, .May 22. The recent re-cent shorm was a welcome visitor to the farmers and we feel to rejoice re-joice over the bonilits derived there from.- The past week has been ono of feasting and having a good time, parties and a dance in the ward the past week. Mrs. E. G. Smith gave a surprise party on her mother, Mrs America Bierdneou. Refreshments were served and Mr.s.Bierdneaus children presenter present-er her with a lovely arm chair in honor of her 78th birthday. On Wednesday evening the graduating graduat-ing class of Merlin Hover's school guve him a genuine surprise sur-prise at the home of Ezra J. Pnl-mer. Pnl-mer. About twenty-live were present and a good time prevailed. prevail-ed. Refreshments were served. We have a number of eight grade students who will take the county Examination. May 22nd was sister sis-ter Marie Burgeniu's birthday and about ten of her friends conspired con-spired to surprise her. hTe after noon was spent in social pastime. Refreshments were served. Last Sunday the Sunday school was visited by Bro. Nielson and Sister Hansen, of the State board. Valuable instructions were given. Last Sunday Evening a Pencn meeting was held at our ward meeting house underthc auspimes of the Holier Society and the Y. L. M. I. Association. Appropriate short speeches were made. Recitations, Reci-tations, Songs. Music and the opening anthems made up an excellent ex-cellent program. Miss Verna Duckworth, who underwent an operation for appendicitis ap-pendicitis amonth ago at Salt Lake City, is able to be homo again and is getting along favorably. favora-bly. Mrs. Jane McNicel has gone to Montpelir to spend ten days with relatives. Magnus Iloln, of .Weston, was, in the, ward ths past week on business. Mrs. Ollie . Izatt, and little daughter) of Thatcher, Idaho, nre spending two weeks here with relatives. Mrs. ITeber Olson and Miss Rachel Nyman has gone to Black-foot Black-foot to spend ten days. Andrew King, who has been home sick this week, is on the improve. Girls are very much in demand of late. The ctork, knowing this, brought a fine baby girl to the home of Wm. Burrows. , M. A. MadsOn, our contracter.& builder, has been in Clnrkston the past two weeks, putting up a fine home there. Sam Smith leftxfor Oregon this week. Edmond, the little son of Lewis Wilhelni, met with n peculiar accident ac-cident on Sunday. Tho little fel low was br.enking a beer bottle with an nx, when a small piece or glass flew and cut his eye.
