There may havo been orloinnlly also an Inscription, hut If so It had become obliterated by the action of tho water years ago. Tho markings were supposed to havo represented rep-resented a victory at or near Dellows falls by four hands and their chiefs under ono principal chief. Tho fact that tho action of tho water has ro-moved ro-moved what was discovered on the rocks 100 years or so ago indicates to nof a fow that -much moro of tho record must lavo disappeared previously pre-viously , |
