Show GRANDMA NEWBOLD is DEAD. :! Sister 'Elizabeth Daken Newbold, wife of the late Bishop John Now bold and mother of our esteemed townsmen towns-men Jos Newbold, died at Smithfield, May 17, 1007, of old ago. She was born Dec. .10, 1810, at Castle Donlng-ton, Donlng-ton, Leicestershire, England, and emigrated emi-grated to Utah In the fall of 18'fi. She was the mother of a large family, and leaves a family of grown children to mourn her departure, the youngestof which Is now a grandmother. Sister Newbold had represented the llfth generation of her race for several years previous to her death, and leaves a host of grand, great grand and great great grand children to 'H mourn her loss. Consoling remarks were ll made by Councillor Samuel Nelson, rH Elders James Cantwell, Peter Hanson, v SH William Thornlcy, and Bishop jH William Winn, all of whom testified of i'jl her faith In and integrity to her re 11- llH glon as a Latter-day Saint. The fjffl Smithfield choir rendered beautiful l music for tho occasion. Sister New- ll bold was in her usual health up to tjl within the last hour, asking to be put ''1 to bed.
