Show FUNERAL OF WM. THOMPSON The funeral service over the remains of Win. Thompson, killed bv a train at Cache .1 unction Friday of lust week, was held In the Clarkston meeting meet-ing house Sunday afternoon. Two-thirds Two-thirds of Clarkston weic related to him and these loved and appreciated him. The other residents of Clarkston Clarks-ton loved him as well, and 'tis said that eveiy man who knew him was his friend. As a consequence the meeting house would not hold the many drawn to hear the kindly wotds said over his bier. The floral offerings were many and beautiful, the High Priests quorum, of which lie was a member, piesentlng a floral anchor. The speakers at the scivlee wen .las. II. .lardlne, Thomus Codf-ey, llishop Itavesten, Thomas Gillllu, Krnest Ilallard of Cache Junction, C. .1. Lai-sen Lai-sen and Counselor Wm. Grltlln, of Newton. Tho words of one and all were but great praise, for naught but good could be said of Mr. Thompson. After the service forty-two vehicles loaded with friends followed the ie-mains ie-mains to their last retting place. Mr. Thompson left a wife, four children, an aged mother, four bioth-crs bioth-crs and a sister. The death was an exceedingly sad one and the whole community mourns in sincerity. |
