Show A i:t-ycar-old boy taken before Judge Drown in Satt Lake last Saturday pleaded not guilty to various misdemeanors misde-meanors and Insisted that he was a pretty fair boy, taken all 'round. Ills mothrr had about thesamoklea of the boy that he had of himself. Judge Ilrown put him through the usual Juvenile court questions and In a short time tho boy admitted that he smoked, that he chewed, that he was untruthful and that he had a number of other vices. Ho was sent to a physician, who reported that the boy was suffering from a tobacco h"art; that his tonsils were dreadfully swollen :is a result of cigarette smoking; smok-ing; that the roof of his mouth was narrow; that he had badly diseased kidneys and Hright's disease, and that Indulgence In secret vices had reduced him to such a strait that he could not live more than a few years. The boy was sent to tho Canyon Crest resort for tieatment. Are any parents in Logan deluding themselves as was the mother of this boyV |
