Show In School. A young teacher in ono of the public pub-lic schools was telling a friend of hers about tho humorous nnswers made by some of liL-i pupils. Here is tho an-'swer an-'swer of n bright boy In tho geography class: "The mnrlncr'i compass was Invented In-vented by a man always pointing to-wnrd to-wnrd tho north." In another instance the teacher had said to the class; "No matter what tho size of a circle, what does It always contain?" Shu meant, of course, 3C0 degrees, A loy with an nlr of wisdom promptly replied: "A hole." During n physiology lesson another boy, In answer to a question regarding the uso of the human trunk, said: The trunk Is that part of your body which keeps you from being legs all the way up M your neck." The teachen In distributing pens for a writing lesson, happened to give ono child a stub pen.
