He gives tho trip a three-column write-up In Saturday's edition or the Eagle. Editor Harlow found Logan a pleasant place and says somo nice things about us here, and somo bad things about Ogden. The comment in reference to the treatment of each of these places is presented for the delectation of The Republican readeis. Of Logan, The Eagle sajs: Logan, the City of Hospitality. Logan can well bo named the city of, hospitality. Mayor Robinson and several sev-eral other prominent men Joined the the party at Hrlgham city and placed 300 meal tickets at the disposal of l'resldent Hewlett. These were distributed dis-tributed among the members of tho party and each ticket entitled tho holder to a "big feed" at one of the cafes of tho city. At the station an araplo supply of carriages and sleighs was on hand and bore tho party up town After lunch, sleighs were at hand and dashed the many "get acquainted" ac-quainted" visitors about the town. At 4 o'clock a meeting was held In the opera house under tho auspices of the Logan Commercial Club, where Mayor Robinson delivered a brief address ad-dress of welcome. President Hewlett and Mr. M. Thomas also spoko of the advantages to bo gained by a complete unity In tho M. and M. movement. Tho meeting was finally drawn to a closo and tho train pulled out from the station, at n o'clock and every member present Joined In declaring Logan the "City of general Hospitality." Ogden's Chilly Reception . Jn tho course of an hour tho train pulled Into tho station at Ogden, where tho association Jw as tb have been entertained (?) by the Weber club. The delegation paraded up town with Held's band at the head of the procession, three blocks Jong, cheer after cheer for Ogden City rent the air, but oh! what a cold damp reeling settled over the eutlrc party.
