Show STRATTON CASE COMPROMISED. Son Receives $350,000, Including His Legacy of $50,000. A compromise has been agreed to by both sides of the litigation to break the will of the late W. S. Strat-ton. Strat-ton. By its terms I. Harry Stratton, who is contesting the will, receives $350,000. This sum includes the $50,- 000 bequest given him in the will by his father. Stratton must also pay his attorneys and all costs connected with the litigation out of the $350,000. The. jt--r to remise, came from the attorneys for the claimant, and was immediately taken up by Sena- tor Patterson and counsel for the executors ex-ecutors under the will. The court costs will reach $3,000, and the amount of cash Stratton will receive after paying his attorneys will be $172,000, as It is understood that the fees of his attorneys aggregate half the amount received. Young Stratton Strat-ton expresses himself as very well pleased at the outcome. |
