Show Implement Dealers to Aid .Irrigation Association. As-sociation. George II. Maxwell, manager of the National Irrigation association of Chicago, Chi-cago, in an address ,before the Agricultural Agri-cultural Implement Dealers' convention at Kansas City, Thursday, explained the'object of his organization and urged the delegates to join the association and to encourage the work of developing develop-ing home markets in the west and to aid in securing sound national legislation legisla-tion that will result in thov so-called arid lands being reclaimed, in order that men seekine- homo in v, might obtain them without difficulty. Congressman W. A. Reeder of Kansas supported Mr. Maxwell's Argument with a vigorous speech. The president of the association was appointed t act as a member of ,the advisory council of the National Irri. gation congress, and the secretary was instructed to communicate with the members of the session and request tbero to identify themselves with the irrigation movement. |
