B At the regular meeting of the B Utah County trustees, held at B Provo, on Saturday, Aug. 9, 1913, B it was decided to open the schools B of tho county on Monday, Sept. 8. B Tho school year will eojisist of B thirty-four weeks. B All tho grade teachers for tho B American Fork schools have been B engaged, and everything looks fa- B rablc for a successful year's B work. It is urged that pupils en- B t.r school the first week and thus B avoid the possibility of fulling be- B limd their grade, which sometimes B brings discouragement and a fail- B ure to successfully completo the B year's work. All children who B expect to outer school for the first B timo this year should enter the V tirst week, as thore will bo no be ginning class at any other time during the year. All grades from beginners' to seventh inclusive will be taught in ! the Forbes and Harrington build ings. Tho eighth grados will be conducted in connection with tho ; High School and will roeoivo do- ; partmontal work. As this is tho year for tho exchange ex-change of text books, thoir will bo many changes and many new books to bo used. Orders for the new books are now being placod by tho School Board. |
