Haokott of Riverton, after a lingering illness of dropsy nnd tuberculosis. Ho is a brother to William Ilackett, who died last weok after nn illuoss of but a few days, and is tho tenth to be buried out of tho thirteen children chil-dren of George llnckott. A few years ngo Mr. Joseph Hackett moved with his family to American Amer-ican Pork and was traveling salesman sales-man for tho Grand Union Tea Co. He later moved to Alpine and will no doubt bo remembered by a great many of the people in this ond of the county. Ho leaves a wife and six children. Tho funeral was held Wednesday in the River-ton River-ton meetinghouse. Mr. and Mrs. Otto Stconbock returned re-turned to their homo in Salt Lake City Wednesday after spending three weeks with Mrs. Stecnboek's father, E. Healcy, and other relatives. rela-tives. Mrs. Jessie Olsen aud children of Provo wore visiting relatives in Alpine part of tho week, .j. .j. .5. Mrs. Samuel Bateinan of West Jordan is visiting in Alpine with her son, J. T. Batcman. William 13. Smith and Frank Healcy returned home Tuesday evening from a trip to Idaho, where they have been looking over the sheep range, farming districts, etc., and aro well pleased with the country. s J. W. Booth and Maud Ilaccktt spent Wednesday and Thursday in Riverton. 5- ! ! Mr. and Mrs. Arthur McDaniel, Mrs. McAffeo and children and Miss Belva Johnson spent Wednesday Wednes-day in American Fork Canyon. o |
