Show Bb H Courtesy to Elders. BBBBswB H Our American people may not lack in H depth of feeling, but they surely do fall H abort in the expression of feeling. This H is most noticed in the lack of the little H difl'erenccs, the tender courtesies, the B free, spontaneous signs of affection that H render homes to satisfactory and so full H of contentment, To give to the white BBVs ltaired father or mother not only respect B but confidence, to tell the joke and the H secret to them first, to accord them B cordially the central place in the merry- E making, may seem trivial matters, jet B ttiey are not trival to those who, in the H twilight of life, begin to think they are B useless and fotgotten, and to question B -whether they shall be missed when they H shall go out into the nearing night- H Courtesy is but a little thing and costs H nothing, and if it is due to anyone, it is B surely to the aged among us, especially B when these are our parents. Let our B young people think ot this. Domestic |
