Show Council Proceedings. March 23, 1897. Council met as per adjournment. In absence of tho Mayor. Counsil-lor Counsil-lor EUingson was appointed to fill the chair. Present EUingson, Roberts, Peterson, Willis and.Bradshaw. Prayer by Roberts. Minutes of last meeting read and approved. ap-proved. The committee to whom was referred the petition of Ohas. Johnson and others reported that 180 rods will bo required for said street. Price asked $1 per rod besides $00.50 for removing improv-ments. improv-ments. ' Recommended that $173 bo ollered. Moved that the report bo adopted. Counsillor Willis moved that the council resolve itself into a coinmittco of tho whole and go to tho grounds and further investigate the matter and that ho petition be tabled. Carried. Adjourned.
