Show TO REIGN AS QUEEN. Brenda Garrett, right, accepts Queen's crown for Color Country Appaloosa Club from retiring queen, Barbara Miller. Appaloosa Club names royalty Brenda Garrett, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Worth Grimshaw, has been named Queen for the Color Country Appaloosa Club Horse Show to be held June 7 and 8, it is announced by Jim Bills, president. Miss Garrett was presented with the queen's crown by retiring queen, Barbara Miller, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. J. Miller. Plans call for the Appaloosa Horse Show to begin at noon Friday, June 7 with the youth division. On Saturday events will begin at 8 a.m. with the halter classes followed by the Performance Per-formance classes during the afternoon and evening. Named as show chairman is J. J. Miller and entry information is available through the club secretary, Mrs. Kent Stapley. The horse show will be staged at the Iron Rangers Rodeo area south of Cedar City, Bills stated. |
