Show Cedar Serviceman accorded honors A native of Cedar City, Chief Signalman James G. Pectol, Company Commander of Company Com-pany 164 at Great Lakes, 111., was recently named the winner of the week's Distinguished Leadership Award. Pectol attended Cedar City High School before entering the Navy in 1956. Among his previous duty stations, Chief Pectol has served aboard the USS Ramsey; a tour of duty at Camranh Bay, South Vietnam; and, just prior to reporting to the RTC he served as a Career Counselor aboard the USS Cat-skill. Cat-skill. Chief Pectol Is married to the former Carolyn Bryant of Cedar City. They have two children and presently reside in Forrestal Village near the Great Lakes station. A new man named Dodgin was hired as foreman in a large factory. The first day, he found two men sitting in a hidden corner. "Haven't seen you before. Who are you?" said one of the men. "J'm Dodgin, the new foreman," fore-man," he replied. "We are too," answered the two men. "Sit down." |
