Show State education board meets on SUSC campus The r e g ular July-August board meeting of the Utah State Board for Higher Education Educa-tion will be held at Southern Utah State College August 2, it was announced by Dr. Roy- the higher education leaders to Cedar City and take part in social activities scheduled for the two day visit of the group. Presidents and administrators administrat-ors from Utah's state colleges and Universities will attend the meetings. Also attending will be G. Homer Durham, commissioner for higher education edu-cation in Utah, and members of his staff. Wives and tamilies of the participants will accompany Roles Committee of the highe board Tuesday, followed by a meeting of the A.1 Hoc Committee Com-mittee on Community C ".lieges. Wednesday's meetings for higher board members began at 9:30 a.m. and continued through the day. Today the Budget and Finance Fin-ance Committee and Planning and Capital Facilities Committee Commit-tee will meet at 9 and 10 a.m., respectively. The board will convene for its regular meeting meet-ing at 1 p.m. in the Seminar Room of the SUSC Library. Participants and their families fam-ilies will attend the Utah S h a k espearean Festival on Tuesday and Wednesday evenings even-ings for performances of "Macbeth" "Mac-beth" and 'iMuch Ado About Nothing." A steak fry at the SUSC Ranch in Cedar Canyon has been planned for the group prior to the Wednesday evening even-ing play performance. The group will be taken to Cedar Breaks National Monument Monu-ment Thursday morning for a scenic nature tour. Meetings and activities will be concluded Thursday afternoon. |
