Show H .K. Jones rervices today Funeral services will be held at the Spilsbury Graff Mortuary in Cedar City today, Thursday, for former Cedar City resident Halvor K. Jones, 53. Jones died in Burley, Idaho July 27 from injuries suffered in an automobile accident. Burial will be in Willard, . Idaho where he has made his ""home'" for. the past ' several years; " jv; Viewing will be from 3 p.m. until time of the services at 4 p.m. He was born Sept. 14, 1920 in Washington, Utah to Thomas Linwood and Katie Augason Jones. He married Alda Sanders Sand-ers in 1952 in the St. George LDS Temple. Later divorced. Married Evelyn Gwen Zipper-man Zipper-man Sept. 28, 1969 in Nampa, Idaho. He operated a plumbing business bus-iness in Cedar City eight years prior to moving to Boise. He was a veteran of World War II where he .served as a fighter pilot. He held membership in the Plumbers and Pipe Fitters Union and belonged to a Square Dance Club in Boise.1 He was preceded in death by his father and three children. Survivors include his wife, Willard, Idaho; daughters: Katie Dawn and Mindy Marie, both of Cedar City; Kathie Rena, . Laurie Ann,, both of Wendell; and sons, Timothy Lee, and Richard Allen, Wil- lard. Also surviving are his mother, Corona, Calif, and the following brothers and sisters: Viva Putnam, Cedar City; Rula Stowell, Provo; Viron, Washington, Washing-ton, D. C; Milo, Bloomington, 111.; and DeWitt, Corona, Calif. |
