Show Junior football League gets underway Cedar Junior League Football gets underway this week with registration August 1-4. This registration will be from 10-1 at the city pool. Games begin August 30. The program, deemed a success suc-cess last year by its organizers, will be expanded this year. 99 boys participated the first year of the program. Already over 110 boys have expressed Interest Inter-est in a pre-registration. Also Parowan has shown interest in fielding a team this year. All boys who would like to play must register officially. Even if a boy played last year, he still must register to play this year. The League is open to boys from the sixth to the eighth grades. Each boy pays a $15.00 registration fee which covers uniform rental and insurance. Girls are not excluded from the program. Each team will have Its own cheerleader cheering them on to victory. Girls interested in cheering should also register at the pool. Kendall Kiesel, president of the league, announced that there are still vacancies to be filled for sponsors, coaches, referees, ref-erees, and cheerleader coaches. Each team will have former high school or college cheer-leaders cheer-leaders helping the girls with their routines.
