Show Paragonah 1 Manti on Thurs. in order to attend the Fri. morning Temple wedding of their niece Christi Burton and came on here to attend the Fri. evening reception in Pa rowan. Mike Burton and friends who were vacationing at Panguitch Lake last week visited here a couple of evenings with Mrs. Erma La moreaux. Mr. and Mrs. Leslie Tophain and Jennifer of Price and Mr. and Mrs. Clinton Topham and two children of Taylorsville were weekend visitors here with relatives. On Sat. they and the Sam Cutlers were to St. George for the Temple sealing of the Gale Roberts family of Cedar City. James H. Anderson and Phillip Debus enjoyed a fine fishing trip to Lee's Ferry and the Colorado River last week with Jimmy Anderson of Kanab. Mr. Debus left for San Diego on Sat. after several weeks at his vacation home here. Mr. and Mrs. Frank Sch-medding Sch-medding arrived home on June 18 after an extended stay with family in San Diego. They will be here two weeks. Visiting here with them at present are their son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Lew Chase, granddaughter Mrs. Midge Palmatier and son Barry and firends Mr. and Mrs. Mark Stanfirld and son Steven all of San Diego. Mr. and Mrs. Chester Robinson had a house full of family during the weekend because of the Lamoreaux reunion and the wedding of Debra Robinson and Steven Barton. All of the Elmo Robinsons were here including Mr. and Mrs. Douglas Ivie and three children of Duchesne, Mr. and Mrs. Ken Cunningham of Provo, Mrs. Joan Walker and baby of American Fork who came with Miss Teresa, Robinson..: . j ;'.,,,;. . Mr. and Mrs. Steven Edwards and baby of Bountiful were here on Fri. Todd and Becky Robinson remained here to visit with their grandparents and with the Dale Robinsons. By Mil in a l.amort'aux Elder David Judd arrived home from his mission to Hawaii on Thurs. and there was a cheerful reunion with his family at the airport in Cedar City when his plane arrived. David spoke in Sacrament meeting on Sun. and his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Dart Judd of Fredonia were here for the occasion and to spend the day. Mrs. Elaine Hillman of Caliente was a weekend visitor here with her son inlaw in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Thornton. Mr. and Mrs. Steven Halversen and children of Woods Cross were visitors here with the Wilson Lunds from Mon. to Fri. Mrs. Gaytha Benson and son Joey, Mrs. Kathryn Robinson and son Rylee all of Beaver and Mrs. Joan Mortensen of Parowan were Thurs. visitors at the Joe Lamoreaux home. Denise and Angela Robb of Price visited here Mon. and Tues. with grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Lagrand Robb. They were accompanied by cousin Carrie Ann Browning of Calif. Mr. and Mrs. William Williamson received word Sunday of the death of their brother-in-law Mr. Kenneth L. Sant of Salt Lake City. Mrs. Connie Robinson and three younger children also nephew, Mike Van Leeuwen traveled to Salt Lake City on Sat. after receiving word of the death of Mike's paternal grandmother. They will remain in the city until after the funeral. Mrs. Bertha S. Topham recently received word of the birth of a new grandchild, grand-child, her 25th. A nine pound, 5 oz. girl was born on June 12th to Dr. and Mrs. Lanell Topham of Modesto, Calif. Mrs. Bertha S. Topham arrived home on Thurs. of last week after a trip to visit family. She traveled to Ogden on June J8th with her brother Hillman and was there for two days Following ' that Mr. Stevens took Bertha and their sisters, Mrs. Violet Squires of Salt Lake City and Mrs. Marie Smith of Granger to Mt. Pleasant to stay with the Arnold Stevens and attend a birthday celebration for Arnolds wife. They visited with the Ervin Stevens in Provo and with others in Ephriam and Manti before Arnold and daughter Portia brought Bertha home. Mr. and Mrs. Donald Burton sons Scott and Kelly of Layton visited here overnight Fri. with Laura's mother, Mrs. Erma Lamoreaux. They went to |
