Show Enoch Jfy and Jfrwi Midvalley (ffig?) By Veda Matheson Mr. and Mrs. Robert Wenger visited here with Mr. and Mrs. F. H. Grim-shaw. Grim-shaw. Mrs. Wenger is the former Barbara Grimshaw Christensen. Robert and Barbara were married recently in Mesa, Ariz. Recent visitors to the State Fair included Mr. and Mrs. Brent Jones. They attended on Saturday which was Farm Bureau Day, and went to help with the Iron County entries to the Talent Find Contest. Also going from here were Mr. and Mrs. Garth Jones, Mr. and Mrs. David Grimshaw, and Mr. and Mrs. Richard Webster. Their daughters, Jeanette Jones, Shalaine Grimshaw and Michelle Webster won third place in the Jr. Division for their dance. Mrs. Dolly Munson visited with members of her family in California. Mrs. Lynda Bauman stopped for a visit with Mr. and Mrs. LaMar Matheson, Bishop and Mrs. Ivan Matheson and other relatives in this area. Lynda and her husband live in San Diego where he is in the Navy. She is the former Lynda Daly, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Tom Daly and Former resident of this area. Mr. and Mrs. Earl Murie came from Hurricane on Friday for a brief visit with Mr. and Mrs. LaMar Matheson. Mr. and Mrs. Farrel Murie were visitors on Monday of last week with relatives and friends and especially with their children, Mr. and Mrs. John Hiatt and family who were recently moved to the Midvalley area. Mrs. Mildred Maxwell left for Salt Lake last week and will accompany Mr. and Mrs. Max Maxwell on a trip to Hawaii. Mrs. Cathy Pace went to Fillmore on Wednesday to attend a funeral. Mr. and Mrs. Michael Bawden and family moved away this past weekend They will make their home in Ephriam. We will miss them and wish them well. Mr. and Mrs. Cal Dunn had the misfortune to have a fire at their home this past week. A barn and part of their corral area was destroyed. Richard Heaps left ' Monday of last week to spend some time in California with his parents before returning here to go to school. |
