V Married to the former Jill Hamilton of Cedar City the couple have returned to Cedar City to make their home following his retirement from military service.They have a five month old child. The certificate of achievement specifically acknowledged Heaps' "knowledge of equipment . . . of communications principles prin-ciples and station operating procedures during emergency situations. He was utilized as a shift supervisor performing duties beyond his MOS responsibilities, with a minimum of supervision. The certificate, signed by LTC, William R. S. Petters, and Brigadier General Joseph C. Racke, further stated that "he always demonstrated a positive attitude, excellent understanding un-derstanding of unit mission and welfare of assigned personnel." THERANW. HEAP Recently retired Army Specialists, Theran W. Heap of Cedar City, was cited for special achievement with his unit in Germany. The Certificate of Achievement was presented for his "outstanding performance per-formance as a soldier and technician," while attached to Headquarters 51st Signal Command at Grafenwoehr Detachment from November 1975 to August of this year. |
