Show ladys Softball League Blasts Off After being postponed a week because of snow, the Cedar City Women's Softball League got off to a busy start this past week. Tuesday night saw four games being played. Coca-Cola Coca-Cola defeated Color Canyons Aviation and Atlas Electric soundly defeated the Playhouse in five innings. Iron Counth Schools and Ron's Sporting Goods, two new teams to the league this year, proved to be quite evenly matched, with Ron's finally pulling out the victory vic-tory by a score of 33-26. CBM met Rocky's Apparel, Ap-parel, another new team this year in the late game with CBM capturing the victory behind the pitching of Bonnie Baldwin. This game saw three home runs and some beautiful strikeouts. CBM was on top 25-2 at game's end. In action Wednesday night Hermie's defeated CBM in five innings by a score of 21-1. 21-1. Sandy Bryant was the winning pitcher and contributed con-tributed to the score with a homerun. In Thursday's action Lisa Stolk pitched CBM to a victory over Iron County Schools. Bonnie Baldwin contributed to the victory with two home runs. Final score was 35-4. In other action Thursday Mt. Bell defeated Rocky's Apparel. Monday night Hermies met Mt. Bell and picked up their third straight victory by a score of 23-3. Sandy Bryant was the winning pitcher.
