Mr. and Mrs. Norman Harris and Kelly of Salt Lake City, visited briefly at the Hannah Robinson home on Thurs. and again on Sat. They were on a two day holiday to Logandale, Nev. They were accompanied by the Jim Gulbransen family. Mrs. Leona Stones was happy to have family members visit her during the weekend. Mr. and Mrs. Carlyle Mitchell were here on Sat. and Mr. and Mrs. Mario Stones and Brenda came on Sun. Mrs. Lovena Burns and daughters, Laura Dawn and Sherri came from Tempe, Ariz, last week and are now making their home here. A number of Paragonah people were to the St. George Temple during the week. On Tues. Mr. and Mrs. David Robinson and Mrs. Irene Robinson were there to accompany Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Edwards and son Paul for a session. Paul has received his mission call to Japan and will leave soon. Bill Edwards has received word from Rockland, Idaho that Chris Poulson has received his call to the Japanese mission also. Chris The holiday weekend brought visitors to Paragonah and one of the more lucky families were the K. Doyle Robinsons, who had 31 members together on Sat. for an outing to Zions Canyon. Mr. and Mrs. Burgess Robinson and their daughters came from Salt Lake City on Wed. and visited at the Robinson home until Friday evening when they went to St. George to see Geri's people. On Sat. the Victor Mathesons, Burt Walkers, David Skougaards, Mike Sherratts and Mrs. Gail Webster and children all of Cedar City met the others at Zion Canyon. Mr. and Mrs. Wilson Lund were to Glendale and Kanab on March 31. In Glendale they visited with Jimmy Maxwell and daughter Helen and other relatives. Mr. and Mrs. Lund have received word that their grandson, Bruce Smith of Sheridan, Wyo. was married on March 23 in Sheridan. Mr. and Mrs. Chester Robinson, Mr. and Mrs. Dale Robinson, daughters Debra, Quinten and Lori, Mr. and Mrs. David Robinson and two children and Steven Barton all traveled to Orem on Friday for the wedding of Miss Cindy Robinson and Kenneth Cunningham. Cindy is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Elmo C. Robinson. Debra and Steven returned home that same day. The remainder of Dale's family came home on Sat. and Chester and Irene remained in Orem for a longer stay. Mr. and Mrs. J. B. Jones and five children of Salt Lake City were here for the holiday weekend with the Blaine Jones family. Mr. Lewis Prothero had the misfortune to fall while at work at the Iron Mines on Thurs. He was taken to the Valley View Medical Center where he is being treated for back and hip injuries. Mr. and Mrs. Douglas Davenport were happy to have their entire family together during the weekend. Jerald and Linda is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Milton Poulson, former residents of Paragonah. Mr. and Mrs. Kay Hansen and boys of Salt Lake City were Sun. visitors here with the Boyd Robinsons. Mr. and Mrs. Phillip Debus and granddaughter Susan left for their homes in San Diego on Fr. after a weeks stay here. Jimmy Mason of Cedar City spent several days here with grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Ivan Robb while his mother was to Salt Lake City for medical attention. Mr. and Mrs. Albin Judd and six of their family and Mr. and Mrs. Myron Abbott, Donna, Richard and Dana were to Salt Lake City for the weekend. They went for the christening of Lee and Bonnie Abbott's new baby. Miss Laura Barton was home from BYU for the Easter weekend arriving here early Friday. She visited with her people, the Joseph E Bartons. Miss Brenda Lowe who is also a student at BYU spent the weekend with the Barton family. Miss Wendy Robinson of Salt Lake City arrived here Thurs. night for a long weekend visit with her folks, the Boyd Robinson family, Mrs. Adela Rubio was guest of honor at a party held on Wed. evening at the home of Mrs. Lola Robb. A number of ladies enjoyed games and visiting and the tasty refreshments. Mrs. Elaine Hillman of Caliente, Nev. arrived here on Sun. for a visit with her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Thornton. Thorn-ton. Hillman Stevens of Ogden visited here Fri. and Sat. with his sister, Mrs. Bertha S. Topham. Mrs. Topham also enjoyed visits from her son Ivan and his wife of Washington on Sat. and again on Mon. Mr. and Mrs. Albert Michaeli are back home in Paragonah after spending most of the winter in Porta Vallanta, Mexico, and a few-weeks few-weeks with family members in Calif. In Mexico they enjoyed sight seeing and some fine fishing li |
